What kind of site is "RISE for Career"?
"RISE for Career" is for "Asian engineers" who wish to find employment in Japan.
This site provides Job Search and Events & Webinars.
Can anyone use it?
Membership registration is required.
In addition, this offer is only available to those who meet both of the following criteria ① and ②.
①People of Asian nationality
② Students or graduates of a technical college or higher in Japan
Or those who have graduated from a technical college or higher in their home country and want to find employment as an engineer in Japan
Are there any registration or membership fees?
There are currently no registration or membership fees for RISE for Career.
Can I register using my university email address?
Please register with your personal email address.
You cannot use a university email address.
I lost my registered email address, what should I do?
We recommend you sign up with a new email address.

I have never registered before, but when I try to register, it says "Email address already exists."
Have you previously registered for a seminar run by WTV/WTM/WT/RISE for?
If you have registered, your ID has already been issued. We have sent an email to the email address you registered, so please check it.

Anyone who is studying Japanese and wants to work in Japan can register.
I'm an American currently working in Japan. Rise For Career is aimed at Asian nationalities, can I use it?

Rise For Career mainly has Asian nationals registered, but if you live in Japan,

I am currently attending a vocational school. Can I use this facility?
This service is available to those who have or are expected to obtain a residence status in the field of "Engineer" (Engineer, Specialist in Humanities, International Services visa).
Do I need a residence card, passport, etc. when registering?
You do not need a residence card or passport to register.
I want to cancel my membership, how do I do it?
You can cancel your membership from your My Page.
My Japanese level is N3. Can I register?
Anyone with a technical education or work experience can register, regardless of their Japanese language level.
I registered but didn't receive an email from Rise For Career.
1. Make sure your email address is correct.

I forgot my password, what should I do?
On the login screen, click "Forgot your password?" to request a password reset.
Are there any registration fees, membership fees, or application fees when using Rise For Career?
There are currently no registration, membership or application fees for "Rise For Career."
Can I decline Job I have applied for?
You may decline.

I have an interview date set, but I have received a job offer from another company. Can you tell the company that I would like to decline the interview?

It's okay if you don't have a resume in Japanese.
You can apply for Job by simply entering your profile and CV into the Rise For Career format.

I've registered and submitted my CV, but I haven't heard back from any companies yet. What should I do?
You can apply directly to Job that interest you. You can see the list Job here.
In order to get scouted by companies, you should promote yourself by entering more details about your skills, qualifications, experience, etc.
I recommend it.
How can I receive a job offer letter?
Offer letters are issued by companies and can be obtained through Rise For Career.
I have passed N4 and my Japanese level is equivalent to N3, can I apply for an N3 job?
Basically, I don't think you have a high chance of getting an interview because you don't meet the criteria.
However, there is a possibility that you may be selected, so you can still apply.
Can I apply by emailing my CV (resume)?
Generally, you cannot email your CV directly to a company.
Please apply through RISE for Career.
There are two ways to submit your CV:
① Enter your CV on RISE for Career. You have a chance to be scouted by companies! *If you enter your CV information properly, your chances of being hired will increase.
② Send your CV to a company via RISE for Career message If a company asks you to send them your CV, you can attach your CV and send it via RISE for Career message.
I want to cancel Job that I applied for by mistake. What should I do?
You can cancel.

I am currently working at a local company in Myanmar. I am studying Japanese N2. Can I apply?
Anyone who is studying Japanese and wants to work in Japan is eligible to apply.
Please also check the details of Job for application requirements.
What should I do if I want to learn more about Job?
If you would like to ask about anything other than what is written in Job description, please send a message after applying.
Please ask the person Job directly.
I lost the URL to participate in the interview. Can you resend it?
Rise For Career will send you the ZOOM URL in the "Message" section.

I think I'm going to be late for my interview. What should I do?
If you are going to be late for an interview, it is good business etiquette to contact the company in advance via message.

Will an interpreter be provided during the interview?
There will be no interpreter provided.
By speaking directly with the company, you can demonstrate your enthusiasm for using your Japanese language skills.

I received an email saying I've been scouted, what should I do?
A "scout" means that a company is interested in you and would like to contact you.
If you are interested in Job, you can talk directly to the company by clicking the "message" link that Rise For Career provides in the scouting email.
I don't want to apply for Job I've been scouted for, but is it okay to ignore the company's message?
Please contact the company via message if possible.
I was late in confirming Job I was scouted for, and now the deadline has passed. I would really like to apply for that Job, but is that possible?
You cannot apply for an expired Job.
Try searching for Job with the same criteria.

How can I inquire about an event?

What should I do if I want to cancel an event that I have signed up for?
Please click the "Cancel application" button from Event Application History.
I have registered for an event, but from where will I receive emails regarding the event?
Rise For Career will send you event information via email.
How can I check if my participation in the event has been confirmed?
Rise For Career will email you the ZOOM URL before the event date.
Your participation will be confirmed when you receive an email from Rise For Career.
I deleted the email with the URL to join the event. Could you please resend it?
Please fill in the contact form with your email address and the name of the event you have applied for.
I would like to receive information about new events.
If you have properly entered your profile and CV, you can see events that suit you from the "Recommended Events ". You can search for other events yourself from the "Events List ".
Will I receive a notification when I receive a message from the company I applied to?
You will be notified by email that a message has been received from the company.
I didn't notice the message from the company and didn't reply for over a week. Can I still apply?
For now, please reply to the message and check with the person in charge of Job.
I applied for Job that didn't require English, but I received a message in English from the company. How should I respond?
If Job requirements do not require English, please send a message to let us know that you would like to be contacted in Japanese.

After the interview, I was told to wait for the results, but I haven't heard anything from the company yet. Is it okay to ask the person in charge directly via message?
You can ask the person in charge directly by messaging them.
It usually takes about one to two weeks from the time of the interview until the results are announced.
Can I contact you in my native language?
Currently, Rise For Career supports Contact Us in Japanese, English, Burmese, and Vietnamese.
However, I think it would be difficult to convey a message to companies in a language that is not written in Job.
Does Risefor provide support for visa applications?
Basically, you will have to do it yourself.
