Headspring has been dedicated to developing cutting edge technology in the field of power electronics by utilizing next generation power semiconductors (SiC, GaN).
Utilizing these innovative technologies makes it possible to miniaturize products while improving their performance (high efficiency and bidirectionality).
To date, the company has undertaken over 300 contract development projects, and in 2019 introduced the noteworthy bidirectional DC power supply "biATLAS" to the market.
This product is widely used as development and production equipment for batteries and in-vehicle components, and its unique design has achieved industry-leading compactness and light weight.
Recently, we have commercialized battery charging and discharging systems that are being used in a variety of battery-related applications.
We are also focusing on expanding our automotive parts business overseas, and in July 2023 we launched a joint venture, ANEVOLVE HEADSPRING Pvt LTD, with India's Anand Group.
Through this joint venture, we plan to combine Japanese design technology with Indian manufacturing capabilities and maximize synergies between the two countries.
Furthermore, to address modern challenges such as the goal of zero energy buildings and condominiums and the sharp increase in power consumption due to EV chargers, we have developed a solution that quickly controls the power of storage batteries.
Using these technologies as a foundation, we are working to build next-generation power sharing systems both in Japan and overseas, which are expected to contribute to the efficient use of renewable energy and the stabilization of electricity demand in local communities.
At Headspring, we will continue to pursue cutting-edge technology and take on new challenges as a solutions provider aiming to contribute to carbon neutrality and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the provision of next-generation infrastructure.
